"Looked at something different from berets, baseball caps, cowboy, or tropical hats I have been wearing for the last thirty-five years. So, I decided to return to my ancestral roots: a flat cap. Unfortunately, in a landscape dominated by wool and tweed, it is very difficult to find a flat cap I could wear in the year round Central Texas heat that does not compromise on style, quality, and structure, and most importantly, that keeps my head cool and away from the scorching sun. Accustomed with the single pane, I gave a try to this 8-panel design. Like a kid at Christmas, i waited in apprehension for its arrival. Then, I opened the box, and there it was, carefully wrapped and folded, un damaged by a week long handling by careless courriers. I took it out of its container, and seated it on my head. Love at First Wear! It feels just right, light, and thanks to the cotton, cool. As for the look, it’s sleek. Despite its layback faded look, i have found easy for it to accessorize my daily casual work attire."
