Note: If you are between sizes, go down for a more snug fit (knowing the cap will stretch about half cm after wearing a while). Go up for a more comfortable fit.
Wrap a cloth measuring tape around your head just above your eyebrows and ears. Pull the tape comfortably snug, read the length, repeat for good measure and use the largest measurement. A piece of string will work too, then just hold it up to a ruler and measure.

"Overall, love the cap. Design and functionality is simple. Material seems to be durable and high quality for everyday where and tear use. Only reason it is not 5 star is sizing of the Scully caps. For the most part I have found to be a size small across the board. However, even within the same style cap, no 2 smalls are the same. This one in particular feels more like an x-small then small. I have a couple small that feel they may be more on the medium side. I can't really return this mainly because it is sold out, but for fear I'll get sent back the same cap."

"my head size seems to fit in between xl and 2xl. the first cap I ordered was xl and was too small- it actually gave me headaches to wear it-I gave it to my son and it fit him perfectly. the next cap I ordered from you in 2xl and it was definitely too large-I returned it and got it in xl and it fit perfectly. the denim cap I ordered in xl and it was a bit too tight. so i would wear it for a while to warm it up then grab the bill with both hands and stretch it forward while wearing it for a minute or so. I did this several times over the course of a week or so and now it seems to fit just fine. too bad I can't switch out the size of my head for a better fit!"
