Wrap a cloth measuring tape around your head just above your eyebrows and ears. Pull the tape comfortably snug, read the length, repeat for good measure and use the largest measurement. A piece of string will work too, then just hold it up to a ruler and measure.

"99% of the time I’m very happy with my purchase unfortunately the sizing runs a little larger than they’re normal medium large. . and it just fits a little differently on my head. I have both the tan one and the gray one. I’ll still use them for a work hat, but I would not purchase it."
