We always liked the concept of 5 panel caps, but felt like the sides could have a narrower look (like our single panel) and that the back could have a more rounded form fit (like our 8 panel). They needed our signature look. But it didn’t end there—we needed to extend the brim ever so slightly and increase the hat depth a little so that this cap kept its traditional feel with a modern look. We’ve revolutionized the 5 panel scally cap.

Wrap a cloth measuring tape around your head just above your eyebrows and ears. Pull the tape comfortably snug, read the length, repeat for good measure and use the largest measurement. A piece of string will work too, then just hold it up to a ruler and measure.

"I now have a number of Scally Caps, but until recently, I haven’t gotten an all black one. One of our team-members passed away and that was the occasion to break-off an all-black Scally! I have a pin-head and for myself, I have noticed that the 5-panel appears a bit tighter and trimmer on my under-sized dome! And yeah, the all black Scally has a tough, slick look! Why did I wait so long to get one? 🤷:male_sign: More 5-panel designs, please!!!"
