Wrap a cloth measuring tape around your head just above your eyebrows and ears. Pull the tape comfortably snug, read the length, repeat for good measure and use the largest measurement. A piece of string will work too, then just hold it up to a ruler and measure.

"Hats are great but the size is questionable. I wear 7 5/8 so I went with the XL but it was way loose so I returned and got the M/L and its snug but its not gonna fall off. Seems they need a M and a L size. Other than that I love the hats and the return/reorder was easy peasy."
