Introducing the ‘Cool Air’ Collection — a revolutionary blend of style and performance, now in a single panel design. Built with advanced sport-tech innovation, this cap features a laser-perforated vented shell that maximizes airflow to keep you cool and comfortable all day long. Warm air escapes while fresh air flows in, helping prevent that “trapped heat” feeling inside the cap.

Crafted from a lightweight cotton and nylon blend, the Cool Air cap also features a moisture-wicking sweatband designed to help manage sweat and reduce odor, keeping things dry and fresh from the first wear to the last. Finished with a sleek woven exterior and matching interior lining, this cap delivers performance with the timeless scally cap look.

How to Measure Caps

Wrap a cloth measuring tape around your head just above your eyebrows and ears. Pull the tape comfortably snug, read the length, repeat for good measure and use the largest measurement. A piece of string will work too, then just hold it up to a ruler and measure.

Very nice lightweight summer cap

"Bought this cap for my future son in law. Like me, he has a couple Scally Caps and has been talking about this one because it’s lightweight and for summer weather. He is a black cap guy and really liked it. I don’t know why they say people usually talk about cats while reviewing caps but, here it goes. He has a cat, a dog and 2 snakes."

Great hat, not my style

"This review is actually more about the company Boston Scully. I ordered this hat having ordered, received and appreciated three previous hats of different styles. The quality is excellent! You can read into it why I gave it a five star review. This particular hat was not my style. It is the same high-quality same great material but a little different style. I decided to exchange it for another. The return was no problem and I had received the cap. I ordered as a replacement."

Cool Air?

"True to the description. Cool & comfortable. It’s almost like wearing nothing because it breathes so well. I also like that I can wear it on a rainy day & not worry about it. Definitely built Boston Scally tough! I’m sold!"

Love my Cool Air Single Panel!

"The Boston Scally Company just came out with my new favorite Scally Cap, the Cool Air Single Panel! I have over 30 Scally Caps, and even a few 8-panel Cool Air caps, but this one is absolutely perfect!! Glad these finally came out, because now I own 6 of them; two in each color!!!"

Sturdy, yet composed

"My husband is a big fan of the Scally Cap hat, so I got him a few for his birthday. They are light, sturdy, yet give you a composed look for the office. The Cool Air Style is new to him, but perfect for hot summer days to keep him cool in the office and out on casual dates."

Its nice and lightweight, good

"Its nice and lightweight, good for hot weather. Doesn't seem to bake in the sun like other black material. Breathes pretty well."

A hit with the husband

"Have gifted my husband 3 Boston Scally hats and he loves every single one. This one lives in his truck and is perfect when we’re out with the family or when he’s on the greens."

Bryann F. (5/5)

Nice hat

"Great hat for warm weather but the med/lr is running bit larger then there hats normal do, that was the only disapointing thing."

Sizing Problems

"I've had the most difficult time with sizes from Boston Scally. The Small is too large and XS is too small. I've had to order the XS and use a hat stretcher to get them to fit. But with this hat, it sits too high up on my head and feels much too small, even after stretching it. I wish there was a size option between Small and XS, because I find myself wasting money on hats that aren't comfortable on me due to the sizing."
