Meh. . .
"I'm extremely picky when it comes to quality craftsmanship. I want the lines to be smooth and symmetrical. I have one wool winter cap that I found a few years ago that was generic and only $12. It's perfect. I've purchased countless other caps looking for the perfect summer cap without success. I decided to give Boston Scally a try and purchased 3 caps. They came well protected in a box, but when I put them on, all 3 were cut larger on one side/panel than the other. Most people wouldn't notice or care, but I do. I read their suggestions for shaping and even watched a video on it, and though the info was good for shaping, it doesn't fix a hat that's asymmetrical because it was cut wrong. I've worn all 3 for a couple weeks hoping it wouldn't bother me but it does. They're okay hats, but they're definitely not of a better quality than all the many caps I've paid $12 for on Amazon. I'll likely donate these to a thrift store or give to a friend. Bottom line if you're as picky as I am and searching for the perfect cap, you might get lucky here; just know that I bought 3 hoping at least one would be cut right, but none of them were."
