Wrap a cloth measuring tape around your head just above your eyebrows and ears. Pull the tape comfortably snug, read the length, repeat for good measure and use the largest measurement. A piece of string will work too, then just hold it up to a ruler and measure.

"Well made and I love the colors. Durable. Fits a little snug, but I'm sure I'm just between sizes. It's my first hat from Boston Scally so there's a little size experimentation. I don't love how the label inside the hat sticks to the top of my hairless head when I remove it. Overall, still very happy and would buy again."

"Hello, The hat looks great and is exactly what I expected—thank you. I typically wear a size S/M (57 cm), but since that size is not available, I initially ordered a M/L (58 cm). I returned it as it was too large and then ordered a size S (56 cm). As expected, the smaller size fits snugly, and I’ve been wearing it to try to break it in. However, I may be mistaken, but it seems that the size S has less material overall—not just in circumference—compared to the M/L. I wanted to confirm if that is indeed the case. Also, do you ever offer a size between these two, such as a 57 cm, or any variation of a M/L? Thank you for your time and assistance. Best regards, Tom Uelmen"

"This is a great hat. It can go with a number of different shirts and coats I own. I am pretty partial to the plaids and patchwork scallys. I only wished, I had ordered this in a "S" in lieu of the "XS. " It seems like the multiple panel hats fit me best in the "XS", but the single panel hats work better for me in the "S. ""

"Now that I have two Boston Scally Caps, when I come home from work or return from working over the yard, I am faced with a most difficult decision; which cap to don? I hate to admit it, but this cap wins-out more than half the time. It just feels right and smoking my pipe without it I feel inadequately dressed for the occasion."
