"Perfect fit, I’m a 7 1/4… The quilt lining, the wool blend, warm and comfy up here in the PNW. I also have the sage green roy, this one is similar in overall tone, except it is dusty gray with a little bit of a blue tint instead of green, and it has some nice subtle overtones in the fabric, goes with a lot of outfits, and has a little bit of a chameleon thing about it. Insulation was thinner than expected, especially at the fold line from packaging; I was expecting a little more substance there. The shell’s tight knit and material seem to add to the insulating properties. Shell material is clean cut and colors as expected. It’s rough and prickly compared to the woolen/poly Irish Rose."

"If you want warm, this insulated scally gets it done. Very nice material and quality. I measure right at 23cm around my egg (long oval) noggin. This particular hat fits very well if on the side of almost a bit larger around the band once, but after a few days of me getting used to the "cap" style of these, I'm getting used to the tight fit of the "crown", pulling it down nice and tight and the band fitting still pretty good.
