Wrap a cloth measuring tape around your head just above your eyebrows and ears. Pull the tape comfortably snug, read the length, repeat for good measure and use the largest measurement. A piece of string will work too, then just hold it up to a ruler and measure.

"Great cap as my other two from Boston Scally. I have owned several Sterling Moss style caps in the past but these recent ones are of much better quality. I was apprehensive of the fit as I am pretty particular from being a western hat wearer ( I wear a 7-3/8” long oval). The medium/ large fits just right. I like the material. The wool/poly blend provides warmth on cold days."

"I don’t particularly like the fit. However, my first hat is incredible. I received two more for Christmas that I just never want to take off. They’re 8 panels with a button on top. I absolutely love them. Just because I don’t care for the style and fit of this particular one, it’s just the risk of online ordering without being able to try on.
