The level of detail in the ‘Sailor’ Collection Boston Scally cap is unmatched. Designed with a pre-washed cotton twill to give it a slight sun and salt faded appearance, this cap was built to take on everything from land to sea. Each scally cap will have a collector’s edition sailor logo on the inside with a crimson compass embroidery on the back left panel. The underside lining and brim resemble the color of a worn in nautical rope, which gives it just enough contrast.

Nice color - darker than pictured

"The Plum cap is a great color and I enjoy the sand colored brim as well. Love the 6 panel style that’s somewhere between a flat cap and a baseball hat! I have found that most of the pictures tend to be lighter than the actual colors, so have included pictures. The picture I took is a tiny bit more red than in person. I have a 22 1/2 inch head and it is a little loose (M/L) but the small is too tight on me. I have found that curving the brim a little helps to give a touch more ‘grip’ to help it fit better."

"This hat comes as pictured, weathered purple. Size M/L is closer to the larger end of the scale. Had to return first one Becuse of inconsistency with sizes between styles. Returns have been fast and simple through email quick responses."

Great product…. Unfortunately…. complaint is

"These hats are amazing. No complaints on the product at all My is regarding excise taxes and tarrifs added after payment. I know this is not your charges, and I know there is some tax to be expected. But it cost me almost as much as the product cost to be able to receive my packsge from the Post Office. Unfortunately i will not be ordering anymore of your product. Its a shame that the governments can ruin a good thing. I hAve received lots of mercandise from Boston Scally in the past. I think im up to 25 plus hats now. But i have never been charged that much extra. I wish it was different, and I do understand this is totally out of your control As well. The fact is, i just cant afford to get hit with unknown charges. All the best. Keep on making your great hats, I get compliments on them all the time."

The perfect cap

"Easily one of my favorite caps I own. The fade/tone is perfect and the fabric is soft. I like to rough up my hats a bit before wearing them and this hat broke in perfectly and distressed in the right spots. The lid is the perfect size, it just feels like a ha I’ve been wearing for years."
