Material Faded after wearing 3 times

"The hat is comfortable and is breathable and overall a nice hat. But the problem is I wore it a total of 3 times to the golf course on average 85 degree days and the color of the hat sunfaded noticeably. I do like the hat and had purchased 3 other cotton hats which I do t really wear out except on occasion to the store and dinner . The hat I’m referring to is the mesh black one I didn’t see in my email a place to review that one . I do have a total of 6 Boston Scally hats . And this one is the only one that had any issues. Maybe it was the black dark color I’m not sure. I have the white mesh one and dark gray also for golf and they have seemed fine the few times I wore them."

crooked stitching unacceptable on a $50 hat

"This is my 10th or 11th scally cap, so I am a fan of the brand. My Island Green Captain cap was crooked - the brim was stitched on 3/4" left of center, so all of the seams were off where they should be. The front center seam landed 3/4" left of center of brim. I would have though quality control would have caught the mistake. Also, the green color was very washed out, much less vibrant than the pics on website. I would describe it as gray with a slight green tint. I returned it and got the Seafoam Green Captain instead, and I am very happy with that one. The center seam lands on the center of the brim and the color is accurate to the website. I will give that one 5 stars, it is excellent."
