How to Measure Caps

Wrap a cloth measuring tape around your head just above your eyebrows and ears. Pull the tape comfortably snug, read the length, repeat for good measure and use the largest measurement. A piece of string will work too, then just hold it up to a ruler and measure.

Love almost everything about Boston Scally

"Love the styles and quality but the sizing has a flaw. Sometimes the M/L is too small, and sometimes the XL too big. I’ve gone up to XL after 3 hats of M/L being too small and uncomfortable to wear, for the most part the XL fits sometimes and is slightly big others. I prefer the way the M/L looks when it fits right. Ideally you’d wanna buy a medium/large and an extra large and return the one that doesn’t fit properly."

Best cap so far!

"Love all the caps. This one will be my fall, winter early spring cap. The extra insulated quilt makes it a little warmer on the head."

John M. (5/5)

Warm when needed, cool in 90°F, and insanely comfy

"The herringbone pattern looks fantastic and the color is perfect for everyday wear—subtle but still sharp. The insulation gives it a nice bit of padding and warmth, but even in 90-degree Fahrenheit weather my head doesn’t feel hot. It’s so comfortable that I honestly forget I’m wearing it. This has quickly become my go-to hat."

What can I say but

"What can I say but Boston Scally's never dissapoint, I have been purchasing this headwear for the last six years or so and I am particularly pleased with my new hat. Perfect fit, comfortable and the insulation is just the icing on the cake. Great job guys."

Matthew U. (5/5)

Great hats!

"Really like these hats! Well made, very comfortable and look great! So many to choose from as well. I'll be buying more in the future."

The cap is better than

"The cap is better than expected. The color was spot in from the site. Great quality, quick shipping."

Gorgeous Hat

"I’m afraid I went a bit overboard and bought my husband three different hats after getting him the Grateful Dead hat for his birthday. This is the plainest and I think my favorite. They all fit beautifully and look great. Thank you. And quit sending me texts tempting me to get home more. Lol"

The Best Hat(s) I Own!

"The insulated Peaky was my first Scally Cap. The fit was excellent and the craftsmanship was top notch. I loved it so much I ordered the Lucky and the Jake less than a week later! I’m hooked!!"

Ben B. (5/5)

"I don't understand why you asked for head sizing if your quality control department can't prevent pats from being too large when I have to list my head size. It's supposed to be a fitted hat. I have bought six hats and two of them have been too large. Those are good numbers. I won't be buying from them again. I'm not spending $50 on a hand to have it not fit. They used to be a good company. I hesitated for a long time to buy this hat because I knew that this would probably be an issue."
