If in between sizing we suggest going up a size. Please note when the flaps are folded in this cap will have a slightly more form fit (roughly .5cm) [i.e. An M/L is 58cm with the flaps down, but roughly 57.5cm with the flaps folded in]. It will break in nicely with a wear or two like all your other favorite Boston Scally caps.

"I absolutely love the cap!! But, the cap actually has two sizes (one with flaps tucked and one untucked). Tucked, the cap fits nice & snug but not too tight; unlucky, the cap feels a little loose. I purchased this particular cap, because I was going to be in Ireland in February. Fortunately, I brought ear cuffs so that I could wear the cap tucked."

"Both caps fit good and are a good quality material and construction . The flap cap works great here in Michigan when using the snow blower. It’s been a pretty cold winter so far I’m glad I purchased it. That being said be aware when the flaps are folded back in the cap it is quite a bit tighter probably a size smaller."

"It’s good looking cap, however the flaps do not help keep the wind away from the ears. There’s a gap between the flaps and the ears. They do not want to stay close to the ears. The material on the inside of the flaps are cold. I believe it should be made of the same material as the outside of the cap, which would make it a lot warmer. Don’t get me wrong. I love the idea of the cap. I just think the flaps should fit more snug against the ears. Thank you"
