How to Measure Caps
Wrap a cloth measuring tape around your head just above your eyebrows and ears. Pull the tape comfortably snug, read the length, repeat for good measure and use the largest measurement. A piece of string will work too, then just hold it up to a ruler and measure.

"This company is absolutely fantastic. I bought and returned this hat TWO times because apparently my 86 year old Irish grandpa has the tiniest head in the world and he needed the smallest size. Not only did they return it without any complaint they sent it back immediately, and it was so appreciated. Please enjoy this song my husband wrote (the tune is one of those classic repetitious camp songs. . . . . ) The tiniest head. I ever saw. Was on the top. Of your Papa. "Typically measure XL. . . have other BSCs that are XL with perfect fit. This one in XL was too tight and exchanged for XXL that was way too big. Both seemed shallow compared to all my others and did not fit down on my head comfortably. So, took store credit and got the Irish Green Herringbone in its place. Really liked the color and pattern. . . just not comfortable"

"Always wanted to own one but always worried about the fit. My head is in the middle of sizing and so I went with the small end hoping for a better fit then being to lose. However, going the smaller size is a bit too tight. My advice for anyone that seems to be in the middle of sizing go with the larger size not down. Better to be a little lose and fit right then a little too tight. Overall, the hat is a great and noticeable thing to wear any day of the week. Just don't forget the pin."
