Due to the traditional nature in which these caps are shaped and hand molded we suggest to spot or sponge clean. We recommend not to steam because this can change this unique shape over time. In this process 98% of this cap is sewn. In high-quality caps like those made from Harris Tweed, select areas are carefully glued to stabilize the heavy wool and maintain a clean, lasting shape around the front and peak. This controlled use of adhesive ensures the lining stays smooth and the finish refined. When executed properly, it’s a mark of skilled craftsmanship and is very common.

Very cool hat, minor errors unfortunately
"I received the hat and the packaging was immaculate. The hat looked great but upon further investigation, the glued section on the bill was asymmetrically glued leaving a portion of the hat on one side looser and fluffed while the other side was tight and barely moves. So for a premium price it was disappointing to receive a hat that was wasn’t perfectly refined, like it was advertised to be."

"My son and I each are glad we picked up this cap. The sizes on XS and S were great. We find they are very comfortable. The look and feel of tweed is high quality and great craftsmanship. It feels like something made by a UK hat company that's been in the business a long time. Well worth the price. Glad I didn't pass on this one."

"I love the hats and it's so amazing I love the way it feels and it is good and everything there's only one minor issue and to me it's minor it's that the hat is not glued directly in the center like I've seen other people's however it is like maybe a tooth or 3 cm difference"

"I called the company asking if they sold a Scottish wool blue bonnet colored cap a year ago, and was told they did not. Some of the blue caps peaked my interest but the designs were modern. When the First Limited run Peaky Blinders dropped the design was what I was more along the lines to what I was looking for, and I noticed it was made with Scottish Harris tweed. I grabbed myself one and a second as a gift. They arrived quickly, presentation and packaging is exceptional. The liner and construction exceed my expectations. If the company makes a blue bonnet color cap in soft tweed I will be certain to order several for myself and gifts. I work outdoors often, and wool is critical in my cold climate, soft wool is preferred for casual dress and comfort."

"I received the anticipated Peaky Blinders Cap by Boston Scally. The Harris Tweed Material is as expected. However the size and fit are very disappointing. I followed the directions on finding my size. I repeated twice and ordered a XL. When I received the cap it was too tight and snug around by head. There is also no flop like a traditional newsboy style cap. Contacted customer service and was told no refunds or exchanges available. VERY DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST."
